| Crescent School is indeed previliged to be teaching this language in its curriculum. We are beginning this language from STD VI onwards till the Higher Secondary level. Through this language we are teaching prose, poetry, grammar, Qur'an and Hadeeth. In Paper I prose, poetry and translation is taught and Paper II, instead of non-detail, Qur' an and Hadeeth is taught. This enables the students to enhance their knowledge of the Qur' an and Hadeeth to a great extent. Many students, after completing school, have taken this language in their graduation level. Some have even opted to do the same in their post graduate level as they were very much interested in upgrading their knowledge. Some students have become teachers in prestigious schools after completing their education. Many students have appreciated and felt happy that they have opted this language so when they read the Qur'an they are able to understand most of its contents directly. Alhamdu Lillah. Yearly essay writing competitions are conducted in this language, for classes IX to XII, to test the ability of the students in using this language. Oral recitation competitions are also conducted for the lower classes. In higher secondary level, aural/oral is conducted for 20 marks in Paper II. This enables them to communicate in this language to a certain extent.
By the Grace of Allah, many students have successfully obtained state ranks in their board examinations, both in X and XII. This has encouraged them to take this language as their career. |
